mp4

Your mp4's have too much data. I found that AJDA's videos were very hard to play/pause/framebyframe. The Low was pixelated. The HD was way too much data. On my newer Windows 7, I could play it ok in Windows Media even using SLOW mode (Yes, the conversion is automatic). On my Vista I could only play it badly. And not in Windows media. The Sisters was better on my Vista, but still caused problems. Please reduce the data so I can play it on my Vista machine. I have resorted to using only the LOW mode on my Vista machine. And that is barely acceptable. I understand why you want MP4. But please optimize it for slower machines. Please.

There is the option to download the videos in low quality.

Otherwise, there are free video converters you can downlaod that will change the format for you.

Try to follow those tips here:

http://smokingsweeties.2forum.biz/t590-problems-with-mp4-hd-video-on-old-computers-or-windows-xp

Currently, the new MP4 videos have a lower bitrate than the old WMV format, so there is less information, but the decoding algorhtyms are more complex. However as you will see on this thread, your CPU can handle the videos, but Windows Media Player is telling your GPU (graphic card) to render the video. You should disable this. This tutorial may help http://pixelmetrics.com/Tips/VidBlank/MediaPlayer.php and on VLC simply turn off 'GPU accelerated docding'
